         The United States Slot Car Association
(USSCA) will sanction a new four race Midwest Region Oval Racing Series in 1999.
The new series will kickoff on January 23, 1999 at SDJ Raceway in Lebanon, In. Fastrak in Newark, Oh. will host the new oval series on February 20, 1999. After skipping a month. the roundy-round set will invade Lucky Bob's in Milwaukee, WI. on April 17, 1999. The finale will be staged at RACEWORLD in Villa Park, IL, on May 15, 1999.

The 5 classes scheduled for the USSCA/NOSCRA Nationals in Indy will also be raced in all the Midwest Region Events.
The new Midwest Oval Championship marks the second USSCA  sanctioned regional series, joining the Pa-Ohio based Tri-State Oval Series.
